When Luke Chechla from KLM Contractors first came to my house to give me an
estimate on my siding, I knew he was the one I wanted to do the job. He is very friendly,
personable as well as knowledgeable about the product and all aspects of construction.
He really took the time to explain everything and in addition showed that he truly loved
what he was doing. I actually chose this contractor over someone I knew for 25 years –
that’s how comfortable I felt about him.
Once I hired KLM to do the job, they started in a few days. They were here every day –
early and stayed well past 7 in the evening. One day it had rained and to my amazement,
they were here on a Saturday to make up for the rainy day. Unbelievably, they were done
the whole house in a week. They worked hard at what they did and they made sure
everything they did was perfect.
The men couldn’t have been a better team. They worked so well together and they all
took pride in their work. To them it wasn’t just a job. I think they enjoyed what they were
doing. I thought Luke was creative and came up with some good ideas. He even went to
the trouble of putting up two different kinds of siding in one area so I might physically
see the difference and therefore make it easier for me to decide which one I liked better.
The team even did a couple of extra things for me – never asking for anything more.
Every night that they worked, they cleaned up so well, it was hard to believe anyone was
there working during the day.
When the job was done, Luke walked around the whole house to inspect everything and
make sure that I was satisfied with the end result. I couldn’t have been happier. I was
never so pleased with any other contractor I had hired than I was with KLM Contractors.

Luke and KLM Contractors installed a new roof, all new windows and siding at my parents’ house and did an excellent job. We were kept informed of progress at every step of the way, and Luke went above and beyond to give us that personal touch that is lacking from most contractors. I highly recommend Luke and KLM Contracting to do your next renovations!

To start, we would like to say what good people KLM Contractors are.
They are genuine in their work as they are in the respect for their client.
We had our roof replaced, second floor windows replaced and new
siding put on the entire house. We had asked to have some additional
windows cut into the walls and they did not hesitate with the extra work
and planning that went into it, they just got it done and beautifully.
After seeing what a wonderful job they were doing, we also added an
overhang on the driveway side of our house, with careful planning, it has
now become a spectacular addition to the entire project. KLM
Contractors are wonderful to have at your home. They keep the area
neat and cleanup is done right. KLM Contractors comes with our
highest recommendation for your next project!
One more thing, a few months after completion of the siding, we asked
them to come back to put crown molding throughout our 2 floor…talk
about craftsmanship!!! They are true artisans!!!
We’ll definitely be bringing them back, once again, for our next
project!!!

We would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks to KLM Contractors for a
job well done.
Early last spring, my husband and I interviewed several window and siding companies
including some that advertise heavily. In the end we received several proposals and
needless to say, after a lot of discussion and frankly tiresome demonstrations, we chose
KLM.
Luke Chechla (KLM’s salesman) was one of many who visited our home and knew that
we had done our homework so he kept his proposal simple and listened to our requests.
A few of the things that stood out for us was the prompt return of our phone calls,
his confident knowledge, attention to detail and willingness to work with us on our
budget. Not only did we feel confident with what KLM brought to the table, but to put it
simply we just had a good feeling about Luke and his team. Trusting our gut proved to
be beneficial.
We ordered our siding, type of windows, etc. and KLM went out of their way to
accommodate all of our requests. They arrived promptly at our home everyday and
finished our project in approximately one week. My husband is very detail oriented and
Luke attended to every need including catching and correcting some small structural
issues we encountered.
Not only were we impressed with the new results, our neighbors were as well and KLM
wound up re-siding, roofing and replacing windows in one of their homes a few months
later.
Reliable contractors are difficult to come across and KLM is one of the few. Luke will be
the first one we call from now on. We are thinking about remodeling our bathroom
and installing new siding on a small home we own at the Jersey shore. We have
already spoken to him about these plans.
My husband and I would also like to state that we trust KLM and find Luke’s positive
attitude and humor to be one of his strongest traits. It can be disruptive to embark on
large scale projects on a home and our experience was very pleasurable. His father and
brother were a part of our team and their work ethic and attention to our needs was
refreshing.

September 24th 2008, My family experienced the worst nightmare. The house caught fire and everything was destroyed. When something like this happens you are so vonerable and distraught people take advantage of your misfortune. the house had to be secured that night, my husband called Luke it was after 9pm and He was there with his crew in less than an hour had the house secured. after several months dealing with the Insurance Company We had to pick a Builder. We interviwed several Builders including KLM. Normally when doing a remodel or addition your excited about the project, WE lost everything the Idea of what we had to do to restore our home, being displaced from our neighborhood, and our kids were experiencing post tramatic stress. Luke spent countless and I mean countless hours consulting with us on the plans for the house. When we chose KLM to rebuild the house we had no idea that we chose the right builder to help rebuild our lives. Luke and his family operated Business became part of our family, The attention to detail was exceptional all of our hopes and dreams we had for our home have been fulfilled.Our children we able to express their wants and needs and Luke made it happen. All of this was done on a time line we wanted to get home for the new school year and these guys worked from sun up to sun down to make it happen. We love our home and the Kids are so happy.

This past summer we made a huge decision to replace the siding on our home with Vinyl siding. As with many home improvements we were seeking reliable, knowledgeble, craftspersons for a fair price with a dependable product. When we found KLM we were pleasantly suprised that they filled every category.
From the start, our standard job developed a few unexpected hiccups as many home remodeling projects will. With expert guidance the KLM Family assisted us in mapping out strategies to successfully address our challenges with their teamwork, expertise, deidcation and creativity. Our KLM team spent time on and off the job deciding on best practice while always considering our input. We were impressed with their creativity and suggestions for styles and colors. We especiallly love our KLM signature diamond design on our front garage wall and our rain chain in our back garden. Most valuable to us was the thoughtfulness and care provided by the KLM team throughout the project. We will definately use their services for any future work we have and highly recommend them to others. KLM is a rare find.

We hired Maciej and the KLM crew to do our siding. This was a complete tear off and we are very pleased with the results and the process. The siding is beautiful and the house looks great. Maciej is a true craftsman who distiguished himself with his ability to address the difficult issues that our house offered and we are especially happy with the bow window. He takes pride in his work and where it shows the most is in the small details that make all the difference.
If you are looking for contractors that are polite, on time, honest and do great work, we recommend Maciej and the KLM crew.

We recently contracted with KLM for a renovation job including a complete roofing, siding, window and door replacement. Our initial contact with KLM was when Luke came to our home. He provided us with all the details and options that we would need and it was obvious that he was very knowledgeable in his trade. He was patient and took a hands-on approach in our decision making.
One aspect, which made our decision easier, was knowing KLM is a family owned business. We would be dealing directly with Luke’s father Kris and brother Maciej. These gentlemen and their team are true craftsmen. It became evident, very early in the process that our project was also theirs. They kept us updated on every aspect of the renovation, making sure we were happy with the results. We couldn’t be more pleased with the way our home turned out.
If you’re looking for a group of sincere craftsmen, who take pride in their work, who are honest and reliable, you should look no further than KLM. We highly endorse and recommend them!

We would like to share the best experience one could ever hope to have with a contractor. There are so many shows and people out there that talk about the awful experience they have with contractors but NOT us. Beth had started our adventure by calling over 25 contractors to reside our home. Out of 25, only 6 would come after working hours or weekends. Luke was our 4th contractor to come to our home and explained in great detail how the process worked, how long it would take, and made no false promises.
I must say, I am one of the pickiest people anyone knows. With my military background I have a sharp eye for attention to detail. Luke, Kris, Maciej, and team put so much pride in their work that it left me speechless!!! I never thought there could ever be a construction team that could come to work every day early and leave late with a SMILE.
Kris is Luke and Maciej father. He is a man of few words but a heart for his work and his customers like no other! When we originally decided to reside our home our sunroom was plain and blended in with the house. Kris expressed to us that he wanted our sunroom to standout! I was very hesitant at first but I knew we were in great hands. Our sunroom was done so beautifully that everyone now talks about it. Now people realize the sunroom is a sunroom and not just a room that you step through before the backyard. I can’t thank enough for Kris expressing how much he wanted to make us happy!
Luke is one of the nicest and kindest people I’ve met in the construction business. Luke is the type of person who listens to what you would like and delivers! What more could you ask for in a person? His professionalism and leadership surpasses any college degree. Luke was here for us through every step of the process and even calls on the holidays just to say hi and see how we are doing. It’s clear to us that we were not just a number to him but a long term working relationship. That meant a lot to Beth and me.
Maciej is great! His strong attention to detail, ability to overcome obstacles and craftsmanship coupled with his likable personality makes him great!!!
When you put these three guys together with their team they make your wishes come true at an affordable price. We needed our home done before our family came out for 2 weddings. KLM didn’t hesitate to make it happen (less than 2 weeks from when we signed the papers!!!) We can’t stress enough how pleased we were with our decision to have KLM Contractors reside our home. Our home looks better than new if that’s possible.
